Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Yoru Discord bot, the Yoru website and the Yoru dashboard (together, "Yoru"), operated by Nocturnal District. By adding Yoru to a server, interacting with it, or signing in to the dashboard, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Yoru.

1. Eligibility

You must meet the minimum age required to use Discord in your country and follow the Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines at all times while using Yoru.

2. Using Yoru

You may use Yoru for lawful purposes in Discord servers where it has been added. You agree not to:

• use Yoru to harass, threaten, spam, or harm other people;
• attempt to exploit, overload, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to Yoru or its infrastructure;
• copy, reverse engineer, or resell Yoru or its features;
• use Yoru to break any law or any Discord policy.

3. Server owners and staff

Server administrators choose how Yoru is configured in their server, including moderation, automod, logging, welcome messages and channel permissions. Administrators are responsible for those settings and for any moderation decisions made with Yoru's tools.

4. Giveaways and the wheel

Yoru's giveaway and spin-the-wheel features pick results at random. The person or server running a giveaway is solely responsible for the prize, for delivering it, and for following any laws or platform rules that apply to their giveaway. Nocturnal District does not provide, guarantee, or deliver prizes and is not a party to any giveaway.

5. Third-party content

Some features, such as lofi radio, play or link to content provided by third parties. That content belongs to its owners and is subject to their terms. Yoru does not control and is not responsible for third-party content or services.

6. Availability and changes

Yoru is provided for free and may change, pause, or end at any time without notice. Features may be added or removed, and data may occasionally be lost because of outages or errors.

7. Termination

We may block any user or server from Yoru at any time, for example for abuse or for breaking these Terms. You can stop using Yoru at any time by removing it from your server.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

Yoru is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, reliability, or uninterrupted operation.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Nocturnal District is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, community, or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use Yoru.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date above shows when they last changed. Continuing to use Yoru after an update means you accept the new Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States.
